Oded Jacob’s paintings often directly represent the political and moral issues arising from the unique reality in Israel / Palestine. He receives inspiration from current events, specifically the everyday life of underprivileged parts of the Israeli society. Jacob’s works consist of paintings, drawings, prints, installations and mixed media.
With his recent move to Berlin, Germany he creates thought-provoking and multi-dimensional art projects that delves into the complex topics of zionism, immigration, the experience of being foreign, privileges, historical perspectives, and the contemplation of returning to the land of one’s ancestors.
