Daniel m Thuraue’s “Parade” revolves around two main works. These two paintings, of the same size (2 x 4m) but of contrasting nature, mirror each other.
Reflecting the tension of our times and boldly tackling big ideas, Thurau has built his narrative here around two great symbols: destruction and hope.
In the course of a painter’s development there are latent seasons in which ideas are tried out, absorbed and digested. Then comes a moment when these ideas, fully developed and ripe in the artist’s mind, manifest themselves in his work as both conclusion and new horizons.
