FRAMED #74 will be as always a magical and meticulous combination between visual art, music and great people all around. This time, we are planning an extra ordinary program that is built especially to fit the unique architecture and acoustics of the Kleiner Wasserspeicher.
Jimi Prasad Orchestra is the next stage in the evolution of visionary artist Jimi Prasad. The Orchestra is a unique project, blending mixed art disciplines, featuring top musicians from around the world including trumpet player Avishai Cohen, keyboardist/producer Rejoicer, cellist Esther Patricia Valladares Amador and more. The debut album is due to be released in July 7, 2023 on Raw Tapes Records.
‘Down & Up (Unending Love)’ is the debut single by Jimi Prasad Orchestra and the introductory tune for this phenomenal project. Dramatic, cinematic and full of imagination. The combination of close & intimate sound with the unusual melodic use of classic instruments – flutes, cellos, voice and trumpets – creates a glitch in the system; something we haven’t heard before. No rhythm section, no obvious verse-chorus form; but an open, pure and thus utterly original expression through music.
Carmel Ilan’s work is based on a method of work constructed of numerous folded papers erecting from a wooden plate. Her latest development is an interpretation of her original technique, as she currently chooses to exhibit only the photographic representation of her sculptural objects.
