Percussionist Alexej Gerassimez is as multi-faceted as the instruments he works with. His repertoire ranges from classical to contemporary and jazz to minimal music whilst also performing his own works. While he is recognized internationally as one of the leading players in his field Alexej is constantly in a state of exploration, searching for new sounds and more possibilities within and around his medium. Alexej and Haggai met in 2017 and have been playing together since. The program will feature pieces for marimba and vibraphone, in combination with the double bass and some electronics.
